Tariff exposure is the risk, not the freight
Building products are one of the most heavily traded categories, and they attract more trade measures than most. Steel and aluminum articles, and a long list of finishing materials, can carry Section 232 or Section 301 duty on top of the base rate. Some products also fall under antidumping or countervailing duty orders, where the rate depends on the exact producer.
That is why classification and supplier identity get checked before the purchase order, not at the port. An AD/CVD case found after the goods arrive can cost more than the shipment. We model the full landed cost per unit first, then plan the freight: flat rack or open top where the load needs it, and delivery direct to the yard or the job site.
What’s included
- Classification and duty review before you place the order
- Section 232, Section 301, and AD/CVD exposure checked against the product and the producer
- Heavy, oversize, and out-of-gauge freight planned with the right equipment
- Entry filing and release at the Port of Houston
- Delivery to your yard, warehouse, or job site
- Landed cost per unit you can hold a bid price against
How it works
- Send the product and supplier details. What the material is, what it is made of, and who produces it.
- We check duty and trade measures. Tariff code, Section 232 or 301 exposure, and any AD/CVD order.
- We book and clear. Freight booked with the right equipment, entry filed ahead of arrival.
- We deliver. Material trucked to your yard, warehouse, or site.
Other industries we clear for
- Furniture & Home Goods: Bulky FCL loads, wood compliance, drayage, and warehousing for furniture importers.
- Apparel & Textiles: Fiber-level classification, origin marking, and trade-agreement duty savings.
- Industrial & Auto Parts: Thousands of SKUs classified correctly, with EPA, DOT, and marking handled.
Built for businesses that import on a schedule
We work with businesses that move physical goods: importers and distributors, wholesalers and retailers, Amazon and FBA sellers, e-commerce and private-label brands, furniture and home decor companies, apparel and fashion labels, construction-material suppliers, manufacturers bringing in components or raw materials, and industrial and automotive-parts companies. Any product category works, as long as it is physical commercial goods. That is where our door-to-door service pays off: we plan the freight, clear customs, and deliver, shipment after shipment.
