Choosing between FCL and LCL

If your order fills most of a 20 or 40 foot container, FCL is usually cheaper per unit and faster, because the container is sealed at origin and not handled again until it reaches you. For smaller loads, LCL lets you pay for the space you use, shared with other shippers.

Cargo from China reaches Houston either all-water through the Panama Canal or by landing on the West Coast and moving inland by rail. We price both and pick the one that fits your deadline. We compare sailings and rates, book the space, file the ISF on time, clear the entry, and arrange drayage and delivery. When LCL volumes grow, we tell you when a full container becomes the better deal.
