Why apparel clearance is harder than it looks
The tariff treats textiles in more detail than almost any other category. Fiber content, knit versus woven, construction, and how the garment is finished all change the rate, and a single garment can be classified several plausible ways with only one of them correct. The duty gap between those options is real money on every carton.
Origin and marking rules are enforced closely on textiles, and exam rates run higher than most categories. That makes accurate filing ahead of arrival worth more here than anywhere else. Where a trade agreement can lower the duty, it only works if the documentation supports it, so we check eligibility before the order ships rather than after it lands.
What’s included
- Fiber-level classification for garments, fabric, and finished textiles
- Country-of-origin and marking review before the goods ship
- Trade-agreement eligibility checked and documented where it applies
- Entry filed ahead of arrival to reduce exam delay on a high-exam category
- Ocean and air freight from your mills and factories into the Port of Houston
- Delivery to your warehouse, 3PL, or fulfillment center
How it works
- Send the tech pack or product details. Fiber content, construction, gender and age group, and the factory.
- We classify each style. Tariff codes confirmed per style, with duty and agreement eligibility checked.
- We book and file. Freight booked and the entry prepared before the vessel or flight arrives.
- We deliver. Cleared goods trucked to your warehouse or fulfillment center.
Other industries we clear for
- Furniture & Home Goods: Bulky FCL loads, wood compliance, drayage, and warehousing for furniture importers.
- Construction Materials: Tile, fixtures, steel, and lumber, with tariff and AD/CVD exposure checked first.
- Industrial & Auto Parts: Thousands of SKUs classified correctly, with EPA, DOT, and marking handled.
Built for businesses that import on a schedule
We work with businesses that move physical goods: importers and distributors, wholesalers and retailers, Amazon and FBA sellers, e-commerce and private-label brands, furniture and home decor companies, apparel and fashion labels, construction-material suppliers, manufacturers bringing in components or raw materials, and industrial and automotive-parts companies. Any product category works, as long as it is physical commercial goods. That is where our door-to-door service pays off: we plan the freight, clear customs, and deliver, shipment after shipment.
